Updates of Genomics and Proteomics of Parathyroid Carcinoma

چکیده
Parathyroid carcinoma is a rare disease that needs an additional diagnostic tool and wide therapeutic options. The genomics proteomics approach may help to find the tools improve prognosis of by early detection metastatic control. findings from were mainly CDC73, PRUNE2, CCND1, genes related PI3K/AKT/mTOR Wnt pathways. CCND1 closely each other, PRUNE2 are expression levels parafibromin protein, which aid in supporting definite diagnosis disease. pathways could be potential target for disease, further basket trials prove concept. In this review, current studies parathyroid reviewed.

Parathyroid Carcinoma: Case Report and Review of the Literatur
Parathyroid carcinoma is a rare cause of primary hyperparathyroidism and occurs in one percent of cases. Most of the patients at the time of diagnosis are young and the mean age is 40 year-old and occur with equal frequency in both sexes. In most series, serum calcium levels are ≽ 14 mg/dl and in half of them, a palpable cervical mass is evident. Clinical manifestations are maily due to hyperca...
متن کاملProteomics and genomics of microgravity.
Many serious adverse physiological changes occur during spaceflight. In the search for underlying mechanisms and possible new countermeasures, many experimental tools and methods have been developed to study microgravity caused physiological changes, ranging from in vitro bioreactor studies to spaceflight investigations. Recently, genomic and proteomic approaches have gained a lot of attention;...
متن کاملGenomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics
Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics is a guided tour to the new world of omics. In contrast with most other books on the subject, the work by Campbell and Heyer invites the reader to walk the walk by following a problem-based approach. The descriptive chapters are logically constructed and carefully blended with the case studies, resulting in stimulating and scientifically enriching reading...
متن کاملComputational Proteomics and Genomics
Genomics is the study of the genome, i.e. the whole hereditary information of an organism that is encoded in the DNA (or, for some viruses, RNA). Investigation of single genes, their functions and roles is becoming common practice in today's medical and biological research. Genome-wide sequencing projects have been completed for many organisms, including Homo Sapiens. Currently thousands of gen...
